The MEDIAN cli­nics in their cur­rent struc­tu­re aro­se from the phi­lo­so­phy that reha­bi­li­ta­ti­on in Ger­ma­ny can be signi­fi­cant­ly impro­ved if high-qua­li­ty reha­bi­li­ta­ti­on cli­nics join forces and pool their medi­cal and the­ra­peu­tic know-how. 

Accor­din­gly, MEDIAN’s basic approach reli­es on a con­stant exch­an­ge and broad trans­fer of know-how bet­ween our cli­nics and faci­li­ties. In this way, a group of cli­nics has been for­med in recent years, which pur­sues the goal of uniting the best reha­bi­li­ta­ti­on cli­nics in Ger­ma­ny under one roof and con­stant­ly deve­lo­ping them further.

The year 2011 can be seen as the cen­tral start­ing point of this MEDIAN phi­lo­so­phy. In that year, the cur­rent manage­ment of the MEDIAN group of com­pa­nies took over respon­si­bi­li­ty for the tra­di­tio­nal RHM cli­nics, which at that time had around 1,850 beds and tre­at­ment places in 26 facilities. 

The basic stra­te­gic ori­en­ta­ti­on of today’s MEDIAN cli­nics, with the are­as of inpa­ti­ent and out­pa­ti­ent reha­bi­li­ta­ti­on, acu­te psych­ia­try and socio­the­ra­py, has been con­ti­nuous­ly deve­lo­ped on this basis. In the cour­se of this, a modern com­pa­ny with curr­ent­ly 122 cli­nics and faci­li­ties was crea­ted from Decem­ber 2015, which, through the mer­ger with renow­ned cli­nic groups and the inte­gra­ti­on of indi­vi­du­al, high­ly spe­ci­fic cli­nics, has the hig­hest level of exper­ti­se and deca­des of expe­ri­ence in rehabilitation.
